Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and have entered the new year with positivity and hopefulness. There’s no doubt that our industry will continue to face challenges, but I am optimistic that it will be a busy and successful year. All of us at StoneAge and Breadware plan to do our part to make 2022 as challenge-free as we can for our loyal and supportive customers.

Sentinel Automation Technology

We are most excited about the continued development of our Sentinel Automation Technology – the future of exchanger tube cleaning. Sentinel Automation Technology seamlessly integrates with StoneAge’s AutoBox 3L tractor; it uses an active sensor system to position the cleaning nozzles automatically and clean exchanger tubes end to end, even in challenging low visibility conditions. The Sentinel has transformed exchanger cleaning, improving cleaning times by at least 30 percent and making an inexperienced operator into an expert in a short amount of time. In 2022, we will continue to expand this technology, so you can expect to see more Sentinel-related products and upgrades that make industrial cleaning jobs easier, safer and more efficient.

Compass

We also plan to fully launch the Compass, an automated indexing device that delivers accurate tube-to-tube positioning for heat exchanger tube lancing. Built on the proven ProDrive™ tractor system, the Compass articulates in a radial motion from a single connecting point for complete cleaning all the way to the edge of the tube sheet. For ProDrive owners, the Compass is an affordable add-on to expand your service offerings and bottom line.

StoneAge Solutions

We also are expanding StoneAge Solutions, our custom engineering division. The StoneAge Solutions team designs custom engineered solutions to help contractors and plants clean the most demanding applications. Our custom solutions range from simple product modifications to comprehensive turnkey packages. Our process allows for close collaboration between our engineering team, the contractor, and the plant, leveraging four decades of global engineering experience.

Digital Experience

Later this year, you’ll also see significant changes to our websites. Our customers need instant access to information, education, and account information, and that’s why we are creating a new customer experience platform. In the fall of 2022, you’ll have all the information you need to make the right purchasing decision at your fingertips. Working with StoneAge will be even easier

Warthog

We will launch a new Warthog nozzle for the sewer cleaning industry, and have several other updates and product developments up our sleeves. We can’t wait to share the news with our Warthog customers, the Hog Squad, when the products are ready for launch.

Breadware

At Breadware, we are expanding our offerings and introducing our first two products to the IoT market. This spring, Breadware will launch its circuit board, the “Slice,” aimed at helping reduce the time and risk of developing an IoT product. Designed with built-in, pre-certitifed components, the Slice can easily integrate with new or existing products to add connectivity capabilities and expedite the testing and prototyping phases of development. We are also introducing an IoT data visualization platform to the industry. Our clients will deploy their IoT products faster and decrease the risk of going over budget with these two products. Breadware continues to help StoneAge develop the products of the future while continuing to service their own clients, including Shine Bathroom and Biostrap.
