StoneAge’s Steve Williams Appointed Chairman of WJA Training Committee

We are delighted to announce that Steve Williams, our Senior Training Manager of StoneAge Europe, has been appointed Chairman of the WJA Training Committee. This is a significant achievement for Steve, and we are thrilled to have him leading the charge in advancing waterjetting safety and standard practices globally.

The WJA is the world’s first waterjetting industry association, established in 1980. The organization provides safety training to the UK, Ireland, and other parts of the world. As Chairman of the Training Committee, Steve will lead the ongoing development of the WJA code of practices and international training program.

Steve brings decades of experience and incredible expertise to the role, making him the perfect candidate for the position. He is highly respected in the industry and is known for his commitment to advancing waterjetting safety.

Upon receiving the appointment, Steve said, “I was surprised and honored to be voted as Chairman of the WJA Training Committee. I have a hard act to follow the previous hardworking chairman Darren Hamilton, but I am looking forward to the challenge and to continuing the WJA’s mission of providing the latest and most up-to-date safety training to the water jetting industry.”

Steve’s appointment as Chairman of the WJA Training Committee is a testament to his dedication to waterjetting safety and the reputation he has built in the industry. We are excited to see how his leadership will help influence program development and continue to maximize safety in this often-dangerous industry.
