StoneAge Formally Releases the COMPASS for Cleaning Heat Exchangers and Confined Spaces 

“The development of the Compass was really devised out of listening to our customers, understanding their needs and wants, and putting that into action,” said Mike Taylor, Director of Global Sales at StoneAge.  

The Compass is available with various customizable options to continuously adapt with the conditions and demands industrial cleaning contractors face on the job. A key offering is the optional Confined Space Kit, which reduces the dangers of manually performing high-pressure cleaning inside enclosed tube bundles by enabling operators to safely operate equipment from outside of the confined space.  

“The different attachments available for the Compass make it a versatile tool with a really small footprint,” said StoneAge Director of Engineering, Kelley Crush. “It can be placed inside enclosed spaces so the operator can effectively perform the cleaning application from a safe position, out of harm’s way.”  

The complete system, the Compass AutoPack, combines StoneAge equipment formerly known as the ProP-DBP and ProPositioner with the industry-leading ProDrive single lance tractor to provide an affordable and completely self-contained solution for heat exchanger and confined space cleaning applications.  

The Compass and Compass AutoPack are available for rent and purchase through all StoneAge locations worldwide. Plus, operators that already own a StoneAge ProDrive or ProPositioner can obtain advanced tube cleaning capabilities with minimal investment by converting their equipment to the complete system.
