Guest: Hans Borgt is responsible for driving industrial cleaning safety and advancement of technology within the Dow Chemical Company, where he is the Technical Associate Industrial Cleaning in the Technical Expertise & Services Technology Center. He is the driving force behind Dow’s push to eliminate manual hydroblasting activities across the company’s global facilities. Besides his extensive work at the Dow, Hans is on the executive board of SIR (the industrial cleaning safety association in the Netherlands and Belgium), co-founder and steering committee member of the Global Industrial Cleaning Coalition (GICC), President of the European Water Jetting Institute (EWJI), and editorial board member of the Heat Exchanger Design Handbook (HEDH). Hans also lectures Industrial Cleaning at Avans University for Applied Science in Breda.
